West System G 5 Five Minute epoxy adhesive is an easy to use, 2 part resin and hardener system. G/5 is great for general bonding and quick repairs. It also works well for spot applications, holding parts in position while standard epoxy bonds cure. This fast curing adhesive bonds to properly prepared wood, fiberglass and metal surfaces.
G5 is not recommended for bonds subject to high loads or exposed to moisture. One to one mix ratio, no pumps or metering required. Cures in 3 to 5 minutes.

I use this in small quantities to attach scales to knife handles and to secure pins, holds well. You have to work fast and be very neat as you work. It sets very fast and is very sticky.

West System epoxy and five minute epoxy are essential items I always have in the shop. I first was introduced to West System Epoxy when I worked for Merrill-Stevens Dry Dock as a yacht carpenter. Now almost retired I still build custom furniture and other items mostly using local wood from my sawmill. Since I'm slowing down a bit I buy smaller quantities of their regular epoxy because it has a shelf life but the little bottles of five minute might last me a year or more without any shelf life issues.

I build large scale model rockets out of wood phenolic tubing, fiberglass etc...and launch them on a regular basis. I used other vendors slow cure epoxy, to insure the models would stay together to be re-launched the same day. I can now build my rockets much faster without clamping the parts, in most cases, and not have to worry about them falling apart. This stuff is great [...]

Used up my 12 oz bottles after 10 years. Product preformed the same after 10 years of sitting around. Very good 5 min epoxy.
